Our Journey
Patakahle Care Services was founded by a compassionate couple whose combined experience spans over 30 years in the healthcare sector in the United Kingdom. Their professional journey began within the National Health Service (NHS), where they worked across various departments including acute hospital wards, Rapid Response Services, Community Nursing, and home-based nursing — providing specialized care to patients with complex medical needs, including those living with ventilators and tracheostomies.
Through the years, their dedication, empathy, and excellence in care earned them the respect of both their colleagues and the patients they served. They became known not only for their clinical expertise but also for their ability to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Their passion for palliative care was born out of witnessing firsthand how personalized, compassionate support can transform the quality of life for patients with life-limiting conditions. Inspired by this, they envisioned bringing the same standard of professional, patient-centered care to their home country, Zimbabwe.
This vision gave birth to Patakahle Care Services, a name that reflects their belief in doing things “beautifully and properly.” Their goal is to ensure that every patient, regardless of background, receives the same quality of care and comfort they had seen touch so many lives abroad.
Today, Patakahle Care Services stands as a testament to their lifelong commitment to compassion, dignity, and excellence in care, a service built from the heart, for the heart.

Who can benefit from Patakahle Care Services?
Our services are suitable for patients facing serious or terminal illnesses, chronic conditions, or those needing ongoing medical and personal care at home. We also support families and caregivers throughout the care journey.
Do you only provide end-of-life care?
No. While we offer end-of-life care, our palliative services also support patients at earlier stages of illness. Our focus is on comfort, symptom control, and quality of life at any stage of a serious condition.
